How the Matching Engine Works
All inputs are normalised to base units (MHz, Watts) before comparison. A product qualifies only when its specification fully covers your requested range.
Category & Unit Normalisation
Select Power Amplifier, Antenna, or SDR. The engine converts all inputs — GHz → MHz, dBm → W — into normalised base units for lossless comparison.
Range-Cover Algorithm
A product passes the frequency filter only if product.freqMin ≤ user.freqMin AND product.freqMax ≥ user.freqMax — full coverage is required, not just overlap.
Power & Gain Threshold
For amplifiers: product.powerW ≥ user.minPowerW. For gain: product.gainDb ≥ user.minGain. Both are optional; if omitted, the filter is skipped entirely.
